San Francisco, part 2: Capturing the city
Today’s tidbit: “No city invites the heart to come to life as San Francisco does. Arrival in San Francisco is an experience in living.” — William Saroyan
My previous post captured family + farmers market experiences during my trip to San Francisco. I decided there was just too much to share in one post, so here is part 2 capturing the beautiful city and surroundings. As I mentioned before, it’s easy to fall in love with this city. Scroll through and you’ll see why!

SOMA: Below are a few images exploring SOMA, or South of Market. John and I enjoyed a Friday afternoon here wandering the boardwalks and trails along the water.
I loved the typography on this sign, found just outside the Ferry Building Marketplace.
SAUSALITO: Below are a few images exploring Sausalito, which is a San Francisco Bay Area city. John and I took a ferry over and enjoyed a Saturday afternoon here exploring the unique restaurants and shops, along with trails along the water.
I know there are a lot of pictures, but stick with me… there is more beauty and breathtaking views to see!
MISC + CITY
Below are a few images exploring the city, including Grace Cathedral + Lombard Street, famous for having a steep, one-block section that consists of eight tight hairpin turns.
GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE
And last but not least, below are a few images of the famous Golden Gate Bridge. We were able to see the bridge during sunset from the Marina, as well as on a clear day as well as covered in dense fog, where it seemed to disappear.
And with that, I headed back to the east coast.
You made it through my tour and have now had a taste of beautiful San Francisco! Have you fallen in love yet?! I’m already thinking about when I want to plan my next trip out there.
