Recap: Happy 4th of July

Happy Friday! I hope you had a wonderfully fun and relaxing {and safe} holiday!

July 4th

Living so close to the nations capital, it is a must to go see the fireworks in Washington, DC… at least a few times.
Of course the crowds can be frustrating, but it is also amazing the people you meet. Living so close you sometimes forget what an amazing city it is and are reminded when you hear how far people travel to enjoy it, not just on the 4th of July but daily. Yesterday I met people from various states all over the country along with a family from Germany and a couple from London. Although the Washington Monument doesn’t look as beautiful right now with all of the renovating, it is still an amazing experience to be in the heart of America watching the fireworks light up the sky over the Washington Monument.

Starting with a delicious BBQ, dessert and drinks. (Notice the tiny burger on the plate? John made that just for Sammy)

Another inspiring, beautifully photographed and laid out post. I’m continually amazed by and proud of your talents and creativity. Looks like a very memorable event and Sammy doesn’t even look like he minds the bandanna.

You are such a talented photographer! Pictures are wonderful, truly is amazing when you think of how far this country has come. Looks like it was a great day and dry not like NY!!

Thank you! It was a very hot memorable day complete with good food, drinks and fireworks in DC. Sammy didn’t mind the bandanna at all, and enjoyed the mini burger John made him. I hope you both had a wonderful 4th of July as well.
